The UEFA Champions League will continue on Wednesday after yesterday’s action which saw a few big names slug it out on the field on match-day 1. Manchester City vs Arsenal is expected to kick off at 20:00 (BST) at the Etihad stadium.

The Citizens defeated Arsenal over the weekend, 1-0 – thanks to a goal by Raheem Sterling (23’). Before that game, they picked up a draw against Leeds United, 1-1. City are in Group C along with Olympiacos, Marseille and of course, FC Porto. They haven't been in their best form over the last few weeks; WWLWDW but Pep will be looking to follow up with another victory. He is tipped to adopt a 3-1-4-2 formation against FC Porto like he did over the weekend. C Sergio Aguero returned after being sidelined for a few months due to a knee operation. But on Wednesday, we shall see an injury ravaged Manchester City side on the opening day of the Champions League. Kevin De Bruyne who was busy splitting defenses with brilliant passes while representing Belgium failed to make any appearance for City against Arsenal and won't be making any on Wednesday due to a thigh injury. Before that game, they lost to Maritimo, 3-2 and coach, Sérgio Conceição will be looking for how to restore Porto to winning ways this Wednesday. The last time his side won any game was in September 26 when they defeated Boavista. The Dragons will likely adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation with Marega leading the attack while Diaz, Otavio and Jesus Corona who will definitely turn heads at the mere mention of his name playing behind the striker. The skillful #10 (Corona) scored FC Porto’s second goal over the weekend against Sporting CP and will be one to watch out for in this encounter.
