Leeds will have their hands full with the ever-improving Hull KR in what could turn into a classic matchup in the Quarter Final stage of this competition, with players obviously on edge looking to advance and ultimately get the trophy.  Leeds scratched together a thrilling 1-point win to get past Huddersfield in their latest Super League action, which sees them 4th with a 6-3 record, good enough for 4th with a bunch of 4 teams breathing down their neck; hence they are far from sure things to make the top 5 finals series.  Hull KR scared the daylights out of the Saints in their latest Super League match, after belting Wigan to show they are legitimate contenders in any competition this season, under Tony Smith.  That is a big wrap for a team on 2-8, clearly, they need to start winning but signs are that they are building a team to be reckoned with for beyond 2020.  Conditions will be ideal, nice cool and not too windy with everything on the line in what promises to be a fine clash.

Ellis returns for KR after missing the last pair of games and will partner Lewis in the Halves for this vital clash, as Abdull is banned for the next 2 matches, while Brierley is not fit enough to be considered for selection.  Crooks and Quinlan remain sidelined, but Mulhern a former England representative is included in a major boost to their Forwards.  Leeds have been forced to exclude four stars due to the ever-continuing Covid-19 virus trouble across the globe, and are without Dwyer and Sutcliffe who have picked up suspensions.  They do still have a strong squad featuring the likes of Cuthbertson to lead the Forwards, and Konrad to make some serious dents in the defence as well as the guile of Gale and Lui.

The latest action between these sides in the Challenge Cup came back in 2015 in the Final, and it was terrible for KR as Leeds shellacked them 50-0, at Wembley, while back in 2002 it was a similar story with a 44-4 hiding.  February 2020 the last time they met in the Super League was also ugly for Hull KR as Leeds belted them 52-10, but in July the Rovers won 32-16, making that their 2nd win against Leeds in 2019.  Leeds are strong $1.22 favourites, with a 12.5-point predicted margin from the bookies, who post Hull KR at $4.33, in very tasty odds, which forces one to ask if they watched the St Helens game last weekend at all, as Hull KR are in form.

PREDICTION: Hull KR to cause the upset, winning by 6.

BETTING TIP: $5.75 is an absolute steal for Hull to win by 1-12.
